California Coastal Chapter Of The American Petroleum Institute

The objective of this organization is to foster a spirit of cooperation among those directly or indirectly engaged in the production of oil and gas by promoting a free exchange of ideas among members; to promote a more cordial understanding by the public of the close economic relationship that exists between the oil and gas industry and other lines of business; to promote the local petroleum industry through funding of student scholarships, student science fair awards, donations to local non-profit organizations that benefit Ventura County schools, vocational training activities; to provide a forum for the discussion of local problems related to the production of oil and gas, or other topics of current interest.
