California Community Colleges Chief Instructional Officers Inc

Fall 2024 in-person conference in San Diego at The Dana on Mission Bay, convening Chief Instructional Officers, Chancellors Office leaders, and speakers on the topics of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to help our members improve and grow professionally. The Pre-Conference for New CIOs was a two-day intensive training on the skills and details of their new positions

Hosted the Advancing Leadership Institute for Instructional VPs in Equitable Education (ALIVE) academy for deans of color and allies aspiring to advance to become Chief Instructional Officers. Underwrote participants attendance at both the fall and spring conference. Members of CCCCIO convened and coordinated monthly meetings, check-ins, and arranged mentors for each participant.

Regular meetings with leaders from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office to discuss policy and regulatory matters impacting colleges and students across California.
