Legislative and regulatory effortscaletc successfully advocated for amendments to california's low carbon fuel standard (lcfs), a regulation promulgated by the california air resources board. Through caletc's effective advocacy, the air resources board adopted amendments that increase the stringency of the program, establish an automatic acceleration mechanism, increase the amount of credits that utilities can retain for programs and investments and establish a medium-and-heavy-duty statewide vehicle incentive.caletc successfully advocated for maintenance of zero emission funding in the california state budget.
