Mission
Mission Statement: The Trinidad Civic Club is dedicated to community support by enhancing the lives of others through service. The Clubs principal project is maintenance of the Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse built in 1949 to accommodate historic aids to navigation an 1871 Fourth Order Fresnel Lens and a 1898 two-ton bronze fog bell that were entrusted to the TCC by the US Coast Guard when the maritime aids were decommissioned. In 2018 coastal erosion caused the move of the iconic Memorial Lighthouse and accompanying maritime aids to Trinidad Harbor with the support of the Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria the property owner. Currently TCC is fundraising to complete the MLH Monument.
