EDUCATIONThe Donald Chaiken Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA) is a four-year, project-based high school construction curriculum designed to introduce students to a range of careers in construction. BITA equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for success in the building industry.By developing a qualified workforce to meet industry demands, offset retirements, and prevent labor shortages, BITA also elevates public perception of the building industry, highlighting its diverse career paths and dedicated professionals.

SCHOLARSHIPSAt the California Homebuilding Foundation, we are proud to manage a diverse portfolio of over 125 scholarship endowments, generously established by homebuilding professionals, families, businesses, and organizations dedicated to advancing the building industry. Our post-secondary scholarships provide financial support and recognition for students pursuing higher education. Whether aspiring to become skilled tradespeople, architects, engineers, or industry leaders, our scholarships help students achieve their varied educational and career goals.
