Annual conferences: held the conference and exhibition with institutes, concurrent sessions and an exhibition of library-related products and services for more than 1,000 public, school, county, academic and private librarians, library staff, and library friends and foundation trustees. Also held during this conference is the annual membership meeting.

Scholarships and awards: the edna yelland scholarship fund, the beatty award, and the begun scholarship fund are the primary scholarships and awards funded annually.scholarship awards were deferred to the new date of the annual conference which was held in september of 2024, after the current fiscel year ended june 30, 2024.
