CMCP MEMBER BENEFITS - Non-Conference Events & Programs. CMCP holds networking events, substantive legal programs, and diversity and professional development programs throughout California, all focused on bringing together in-house and outside counsel in an atmosphere conducive to meeting, building relationships and showing minority counsel skills. In addition, CMCP co-sponsored, and assisted in organizing, marketing and in obtaining speakers for numerous programs in conjunction with other legal and diversity organizations.

CMCP Ambassadors Council - CMCP launched the CMCP Ambassadors Council (CMCPAC) in 2016. The CMCPAC consists of young attorneys of color at member organizations selected for leadership ability and commitment to diversity. Objectives of the CMCPAC include professional development of its members by providing them responsibilities for outreach to other young lawyers of color, and expansion of CMCPs abilities to be active across California. CMCPAC typically operates by organizing mixers and programs and assisting in mainline CMCP programs and events.

Other CMCP Activities - database of CMCP-member attorneys of color by member type, geography, areas of expertise and contact information. ** Job Bank -- website page on which corporations, public agencies and law firms seeking minority attorney applicants post job openings.** CMCP E = "BULLETIN published WEEKLY".** Regular attorney spotlights profiling CMCP member minority attorneys and their accomplishments.** Volunteer opportunities for CMCP-member attorneys to work on CMCP projects and/or serve on CMCP committees.
