Membership engagement & leadership development - cpoa builds professional networks and leadership capacity for peace officers statewide. The more than 19,000 individual members come together for education, collaboration, and recognition. Regional programs, committees, and resources support members at every rank, fostering ethical standards, professional growth, and interagency collaboration.

Advocacy & legislative affairs - cpoa represents peace officers before the legislature and regulatory agencies. The association monitored and engaged on over 60 bills, provided testimony, and issued updates to members. Cpoa's advocacy promotes laws that support effective, ethical policing and ensures members are informed about changes affecting their agencies and communities.
