CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND ELECTORAL ORGANIZING: Every election year CHIRLA Action Fund sets on conducting political analysis across key races in California and then doing candidate research. After this process, we focus on educating CHIRLA Action Fund members on said races and candidates so that they may be part of our endorsement process. For the 2024 election cycle, the CHIRLA Action Fund Civic Engagement team hosted dozens of candidates interview with the c4 board of directors, its members and staff. In total, CHIRLA Action Fund endorsed 18 candidates for the 2024 cycle. Of these candidates, 11 won. These candidate endorsements range from local races to federal and even the presidential race.
