Friends dinners and activities - friends events provide an opportunity for caltech alumni, students and donors to get acquainted while also being educated by guest speakers, who range from caltech faculty to community members. During the 2023-24 year, the caltech y held three events: 1) an open house with poster presentations led by students featuring various caltech y programs, 2) a tree tour of the caltech campus with the former caltech arborist, and 3) a panel discussion on ai with alumni speakers, karina montilla and mario munich.
