Mission
During the tax year 2024, CACCWA received funding from Washington State's Department of Commerce, Department of Labor & Industries, and the City of Seattle to provide outreach, technical, business support, and emergency response services to the Khmer community of WA state and businesses within Snohomish, King, Pierce, Thurston, and Clark Counties.
Programs

Department of Labor and Industries (L&I): This Contract aims to provide outreach and education-oriented products and services per the requirements stipulated by L&I. Products and services were targeted at small business and nonprofit employers. For the purposes of this contract, "small" meant employers of 50 or fewer workers.
Equity in Education Coalition (EEC): This program is a subgrantee contract with EEC, funded by the Washington Department of Commerce, whereby CACCWA developed a culturally anchored and respectful digital navigation curriculum for the local community. CACCWA offered digital navigation and literacy support to community members through the culturally anchored and respectful digital navigator curriculum that is reflective and responsive to the languages, cultures, and communities found in WA State as well as the Federally and Non-Federally recognized tribes. Additionally, CACCWA offered ongoing digital literacy skills training, including technical skills and application support across a broad spectrum of devices, platforms, and applications.
Seattle Office of Emergency Management (Seattle OEM): With this grant, CACCWA provided classes and distributed materials/Emergency Preparedness backpacks to community members focusing on disaster preparedness, stroke and 9-1-1 education.
