Mission

Cambridge house of inner peace ("peace house") is dedicated to the study and practice of buddhism, to supporting interreligious communication and cultural exchange, and to creating conditions where individual and collective peace, connection, and discovery can flourish. It houses two resident sri lankan theravada monks who offer weekday chanting and meditations. All are welcome to join - beginners as well as experienced practitioners. Peace house also offers weekly dhamma talks, silent retreat days, and other special events. In addition, peace house regularly makes its space available to host community practice groups. Situated in the busy heart of cambridge, massachusetts, peace house serves as a sacred space of refuge and respite for those seeking to cultivate inner and outer peace.
