Cameron is an ecumenical urban community center in the lyell / otis area of rochester, ny, an area of high poverty. Cameron provides educational and recreational programsfor children and their families to build life skills and positivevalues in a structured, safe, and nurturing environment. It alsoprovides meals for the hungry and clothing for those in need.

Youth:cameron operates an after school learning and recreation program forapproximately 75 grade school students from a very low income area, anda summer recreation program for local youth. Manyvolunteers supplement cameron staff to deliver these services.

Clothing house:cameron operates a clothing house, a separate building where donatedclothing is distributed to low-income residents. During 2024 5,169people were served.

Expenses: $93K

Social work:cameron helps to send graduates of our youth programs to localparochial schools with the help of loyal supporters donatingscholarship funds. Cameron assists the students financially,physically, and emotionally. In 2024, 1 student was assisted.
