Mission

The primary purpose of the organization is to provide quality, affordable after-school, homework help, mentoring, seasonal sports, and summer programs for youth between the ages of 6 and 18. The organization serves working class families in south brooklyn and throughout the five boroughs to build self-esteem, promote physical fitness and academic achievement for youths attending the program. These programs are designed to develop a consistent and long-term relationship with each youth to achieve maximum individual character and gain personal accountability with competitive spirit and learn good sportsmanship through year-round programs.

Programs

The organization's food pantry program distributes fresh produce, and pantry items, to hundreds of recipients who wait in line every saturday. Approximately fifty to sixty volunteers help to distribute food. Other volunteers help from home with graphic design, social media, volunteer recruitment, filling out applications, and putting up flyers. Additionally, the food pantry offers english classes and a legal clinic, in partnership with other organizations.
