The mission of camp peniel of meyersdale inc. Is to promote the social, physical, and spiritual development of youth and others through training camps and retreats. The camp holds three annual summer education adventure camp programs, including: sr. Camp, jr. Camp, and mini camp. The camp also holds a youth rally in april. Activities include: bible education, fellowship, sports, campfires, and crafts. Camp programs are conducted by ordained ministers of the brethren churches, northeastern brethren district and volunteer staff appointed by the board of directors. 100 percent of the board's activity is centered around promoting the mission of the organization. The camp is funded through donations and camper registration/rental fees. All expenses incurred are either direct program expense,such as program curriculum, food, and camping supplies, or are for camp utilities, insurance, repairs and maintenance, or real estate tax.
