Programs
2 programs
Community Violence Interruption Programs including Youth Mentoring Vocational Training Education Programming and Community Engagement. Centered in the 48205 zip code our areas have gained notoriety as a violent place to grow up. Working to change the narrative statistics and save lives by transforming the expectations and opportunities we have a collaboration of community organization and programs to end the violence for good.
Land Reactivation Through Community Campus Development. This program started developing land surrounding Seymour and Chalmers in Detroit at the request of the community. We opened the Literacy House and have used the property as a training ground for the Landscape Academy with youth from our neighborhood. We have cleared graded and seeded 27 lots through a massive community effort to be used for youth mentoring and vocational training programs.
