The purpose for which the corporation is formed is to support the state university of new york at binghamton and the foundation of the state university of new york at binghamton, inc by acquiring, maintaining and managing real property that will be used to preserve the natural beauty of the university campus, to enhance the environment and quality of life on the university campus for the benefit of the university's students, faculty and staff and to enhance accessibility among the various sectors of the university campus for the convenience of theuniversity's students, faculty and staff. The public objective is to promote higher education in the community served by the university.
