Food Outreach - In FYE25, The Community Food Pantry served 6,854 people, providing 88,905 meals. We operate as a choice pantry, allowing clients to select the items that best meet their households needs. Clients may visit the pantry twice per month, with each visit providing 15 meals per person. FY25 Total food distributed: 96,070 lbs Market Day Program - This program serves low-income seniors residing at Davids Way and Canal Village. Clients may shop weekly on Thursdays. Transportation is also provided for these residents, and in FY25, approximately 45% of them took advantage of Market Day. Feeding Our Future Program - This initiative supports students within the Canal Winchester School District by providing weekend meals. During the 2024-2025 school year, we served approximately 124 students weekly, distributing 7,502 meals. Blessing Boxes - We maintain two publicaly accessible blessing boxes - one located at our facility and another at the American Legion in Lithopolis. These boxes provide an alternative food access point for those who may be unhoused or reluctant to visit the pantry.

Community Outreach - Adopt A Family program - This holiday assistance program supports families experiencing financial hardship. Each adopted child receives clothing, pajamas, underwear, socks, and three gifts from Santa. Families also receive a full food basket, including ham, eggs, butter, and fresh produce. Gently used coats and new hats, gloves, and scarves are also distributed. 2024 Impact - 255 individuals served, including 174 adopted children. Emergency Assistance Program - We provide emergency financial assistance for rent, mortgage, and utility payments to residents within the Canal Winchster School District. FYE25 Total Assistance Distributed: $7,821.67 Tools for School Program - Each year, students in need from Canal Winchester Local Schools and Bloom-Carroll Schools receive new backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies. 2024-2025 School Year: 142 students served Senior Outreach Programs - Tuesday Senior Lunch - A weekly congregate meal is served to approximately 50-60 seniors, offering both a nutritious lunch and an opportunity for social interaction. Community Care Days - Our Spring 2025 Community Care Day was held in partnership with the Canal Winchester Young Professionals Club, who completed mulching, weeding, and other outdoor projects for local seniors. The Fall 2024 event, organized with the Indians Club and Renee Hamilton, focused on leaf removal for elderly residents. Out to Lunch Bunch - Each month, we transport seniors to a local restaurant for a shared lunch, promoting social engagement and community connection.
