Mission
The population health alliance (pha) is the industry's only multi stakeholder professional and trade association soley focused on population health. The organization has dozens of members representing stakeholders from across the health care eco system that seek to improve health outcomes, optimize medical and administrative spend and drive affordability. Through its robust advocacy, quality and research and education initiatives, the pha offers members a forum to advance shared learning and applied research to further innovation and establish best practices in the population health field. Pha added to the corporate partner program, structure for topical focused workgroups and held the annual state of population health meeting in january and 25thanniversary innovation summit in october. Pha also implemented an award program in two categories: chronic care transformation and service of the underserved.
Pha's government affairs committee convened on a monthly basis to address member priorities across stakeholder groups, disseminated information about government action that would impact the industry while providing guidance,support, and feedback to federal government agencies and advocacy stakeholders through letters of support, phone calls, and public comment responses.
