Industry partnership program:careerrise's industry partnerships program serves as a regional workforce intermediary, convening employers, educators, and community organizations to address shared workforce development challenges. The program delivers services aligned with six strategies: hiring and workforce planning; training and apprenticeships; employment success supports; quality careers and workplaces; career awareness; and regional systems support. Leveraging grant funding, the team develops and implements initiatives benefiting employers and job seekers, and provides education, information sharing, and networking for more than 700 stakeholders. Key initiatives include career compass academy, a five-week virtual career exploration and work readiness program for wioa-eligible youth ages 1624 featuring industry panels and online training in five high-demand sectors; the prologis learning program, which provides online training in warehousing, distribution, and logistics to prepare individuals for employment in a rapidly growing sector; and careerready atl, a youth apprenticeship system in partnership with united way of greater atlanta that connects youth of color furthest from opportunity to high-quality apprenticeships, with careerrise providing technical assistance to employers and educators in program design, recruitment, training, and support services.

Equity @ work program:launched in 2019 by careerrise in partnership with the arthur m. Blank family foundation, atlanta regional commission, community foundation for greater atlanta, federal reserve bank of atlanta, metro atlanta chamber, and united way of greater atlanta, the opportunity access network (oan) is a regional initiative to align workforce system stakeholders around a coordinated vision for metro atlanta's workforce future. In 2024, careerrise convened 30 cross-sector leaders for the oan strategy session and ecosystem reconvening, resuming collaboration paused during the pandemic to reassess goals, address persistent barriers to career advancement, and refine oan's role in driving strategic alignment. Stakeholders established five goals: (1) advance racial equity in workforce policy and practice; (2) develop a regional workforce outcomes metrics platform; (3) expand quality training leading to sustainable, living-wage career pathways; (4) improve secondary student transitions into quality jobs; and (5) enhance employer engagement and coordination across workforce entities to improve performance and equity outcomes.
