JOB TRAINING, CAREER ADVISING, INTERNSHIPS AND APPRENTICESHIPS - To help students find the avenue best suited to their interests and abilities, C-CAP facilitates career exploration activities, designed to expose students to the many possible careers available to them, via job shadows, boot camps, and field trips. Our Career Awareness program focuses on in-classroom demonstrations and presentations, career days, employer workplace tours, and college campus tours as well as a comprehensive summer job training and internship program. C-CAP also serves as an official US Department of Labor apprenticeship intermediary, matching students with employers for full-year, paid apprenticeships.

Expenses: $839K

ADULT PROGRAMMING - In New York City, CCAP runs a five-week Career Pathways program to support adults interested in transitioning to the culinary industry. The training includes food safety certification. CCAP then works with employers to place graduates into entry-level, full-time positions.
