Dementia friendly dining - we have partnered with local st. Louis restaurants to train and support their establishments in dementia best practices. We believe going out to eat should not be stressful. We are working with local restaurants to train their staff on dementia communication best practices and giving tips and advice to restaurants to better serve this population.
Companion outings socialization is a critical piece of brain health. These outings are designed for both individuals to feel supported and engage with others in a small, low-stress environment. We served 120 caregivers and alzheimer's individuals.
