In April of 2024 Caring People Alliance was awarded an $8.7 million contract through a competitive procurement process to operate the Community Umbrella Organization (CUA) for Northwest Philadelphia. The CUA provides case management services to approximately 300 youth in foster care annually. The primary goals of the case management program are family reunification and permanency. The CUA also provides prevention services to at risk families in the same region of NW Philadelphia. The contract renews annually.

Boys & Girls Clubs: Caring People Alliance provides high quality programs for school age students. We serve elementary, middle, and high school age children. These services are available at our North, West, and South Philadelhia Boys and Girls Clubs. Many of our programs are modeled after national Boys and Girls Clubs of America guidelines and standards. Our after-school programs following guidelines and standards set by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, PA State licensing, Philadelphia Department of Human Services Out of School Time program, as well as numerous specific requirements for operating funded programs. Our Boys and Girls Clubs include after school and full day summer camp, teen programs, educational programs, STEM programs, and trips. We serve almost 600 school age children per fiscal year.

Child Care Programs: Caring People Alliance provides high quality licensed child care to low-income families. We participate in Pennsylvanias Keystone STARS program and have achieved the highest STAR 4 rating at both of our child care centers. We provide child care for children from 3 to 5 years of age, funded by federal Head Start, Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts, and Philadelphia PHL Pre-K. We provide breakfast, lunch and a snack and are open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM to accomodate working families. All programs include a variety of learning activities, gross and fine motor activities, arts, technology, swimming, music, and a variety of fun and educational trips. Parents are actively encouraged to volunteer with the program. We serve approximately 100 children at each of our sites in North and West Philadelphia.

During the tax year Caring People Allianceserved over 20,000 families and 30,000 children throughout Philadelphia through our ELRC programprovided over 10,000 meals to more than 300 senior citizens living in South Philadelphiaprovided year-round after school and full day summer programming to more than 600 children and youth at our Boys & Girls Clubs programsprovided high quality early education programs to over 200 3-5 year olds
