Mission
The caritas foundation will provide programs and services to the affordable housing communities of the caritas corporation and its affiliates. The caritas corporation and its affiliates are nonprofit entities organized as 501(c)(3) organizations under the internal revenue code.
Programs

Promotion and support of community building activities to contribute to an enhanced quality of life for low income families in the caritas corporation communities. The caritas communities house approximately 16,000 individuals who benefit from these activities.
During 2024, there were scholarships to 28 residents of the caritas communities.
The organization provides educational tools, including books that have been provided to the children in the communities and a summer reading program. During 2024, the summer reading program provided books for 162 children.
