Mission
Our mission is to make dance education accessible to all people regardless of location ability or resources.
Programs
3 programs
Adaptive Dance Program- made up of students with disabilities ranging from age 5 to older adults. This program is mostly funded by grants and foundations. DanceCollab instructors work with students in Special Education classrooms on the the high school level go into day service adult programs work with disability specific therapy schools and create safe spaces for all individuals to come to a weekly class and participate in our annual Adaptive Christmas Flash Mob. Most of these programs are free of charge for our students although our weekly classes bring in a small amount of revenue.
After School Dance Program- DanceCollab instructors travel to different schools to deliver dance education to elementary aged students. Students learn ballet jazz modern hip-hop and more as they work alongside their peers and use problem solving skills to create choreograph and perform at the end of each semester for their families.
Besides our three largest programs other programs include: Workshops summer camps birthday parties arts integration programs and more. Expenses relating to these programs include: programming instruction and materials and supplies.
