Carroll County Economic Development

Continued the retail and amenities program to attract and recruit new restaurants and retail options to Carroll County. Engaged with local property owners and CRE developers to learn more about attracting certain types of retail. Attended ICSC Southeast to engage with retailers to learn their site criteria and demographics of their expansion markets. Conducted several meetings with a targeted audience to identify retail needs in Carroll County.

Provided personnel management and administrative services for the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and its staff for 2024. The Chamber membership as of 12/31/2024 was 601 members.

Upgraded the Carroll Tomorrow website via Red Cube to create an updated version of the website with better graphics, more in depth information that site selectors or GDEcD Project Managers may need for project recruitment in Carroll County.

Continued Year 4 of the 5-year capital campaign, conducted several board and investor meetings to effectively communicate progress made by Carroll Tomorrow.
