To provide leadership information and resources to educate attract and influence technology in carroll county maryland through educational seminars and annual events featuring informational speakers having expertise in a variety of technology topics. Seminars and events are open to the public. The organizations website features technology resources available in carroll county maryland.

Ctic is actively sending communications highlighting grants loans or resources for the business community or providing technology resources to students nonprofits and jobseekers the ctic was a go to resource. In continuing our community partnerships with carroll community college mcdaniel college and the carroll county workforce development office the ctic has offered a reduced membership rate to those individuals who have an interest in technology. The ctic has provided financial support to local robotics programs md stem festival and members have volunteered and donated time to those programs serving as judges and mentors. In december we began distributing 5k chromebooks for the maryland statewide broadband connected devices program. This program expands our ability to connected underserved communities to technology. Ctic members have also participated in numerous community events and forums where they have been the "technologists- or experts regarding various topics. Our staff and members serve on the advisory board to tech incubators in the community as well as in the region as well serving on the countys long-term advisory council carroll county broadband advisory board and carroll countys workforce development board. The ctic ed was also a member of the executive board of the carroll county workforce development board. We also actively participated in multiple speaking and panel engagements to highlight the importance of digital equity and apprenticeships.

Expenses: $45K

CTIC provided digital skills training to older adults job seekers and community members. The organization distributed computers and supported learners with technical coaching and individualized support. Programming included in-person workshops one-on-one instruction and public digital literacy events covering internet navigation scam prevention device use and applied technology like AI. These services were primarily funded through grant revenue and delivered in partnership with libraries housing organizations and workforce programs.
