Mission
The mission of the Carson Valley Arts Council is to create a climate for the arts through the presentation and promotion of cultural and educational events for the Carson Valley youth and community and the greater Western Nevada/Lake Tahoe Region.

Nevada Arts Council Partners in Excellence Grant. Purpose of grant was operating support. Program Matching grant with CVAC. Two year grant. First half was received in prior fiscal year. Second half which amounted to $11,000 was received on 9/4/2024.
Grant from Smallwood Foundation for general operating support.
WESTAF Grant. Purpose was to fund 2024-2025 Concerts. This is a matching grant.
Nevada Arts Council Arts Learning Component Grant. Purpose of grant was to bring Missoula Childrens Theatre to three Douglas County Schools. This is a matching grant.
Minden Rotary Grant. Purpose of grant was for Youth Arts Education.
American Centurey Championship 2024 Communit Grant. Purporse of grant was for Youth Arts Education at Lake Tahoe schools.
