To promote democratic values, challenge bigotry, and to organize communities to speak out in support of democratic principles and institutions.

Educate, activate and train montanans to support human rights issues, including lgbtq rights and racial and economic justice through local organizing, media, communications, granting and activism. Publish research gathered through local organizing and public media, update members on mhrn activities, and provide information to the media on both far right activity and human rights efforts.
