Refugee and immigration-the refugee and immigration services programs provide resettlement and immigration services. The rro program administers the reception and placement (r&p) program through its affiliation with the us conference of catholic bishops/migration and refugee services (usccb/mrs). Ccdoc has resettled 543 refugees during the 2023-24 fiscal year and provided employment assistance for more than 137 clients. The immigration services program is recognized by the board of immigration appeals. Our immigration program provided 353 services to 198 clients between three office locations during the 2023-24 fiscal year.

Veterans' services - the va's suportive services for veteran families program's purpose is to provide supportive services to very low-income veteran families in mecklenburg county who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and ultimately, to end homelessness among veterans. Ssvf prioritizes the delivery of rapid re-housing services to homeless veteran households. Services include: outreach, case management which includes: housing search & placement, eviction prevention, security deposit assistance, rental assistance, assistance with childcare expenses, transportation assistance, assistance obtaining va and other benefits. Ccdoc served 101 veteran families during fy23-24.
