Single family development: cchs has distinct home ownership programs for first-time home buyers with very-low to moderate incomes. The individual self-help model requires families contribute 250 hours of sweat equity on their homes and provides a credit at closing that allows families to achieve their dream of home ownership with little to no down payment. Resident services: resident services (rs) program provides our residents with access to social and educational programs focusing on embracing people, strengthening families and empowering all to thrive. The areas of focus for the rs program include: education, crimeprevention, health/nutrition, community engagement, and economic opportunities. Cchs'rs program seeks to provide all residents with the opportunity to learn, develop individually and communally, and break cycles of educational inequality among immigrant and farm worker families.
