Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud is a nonprofit human services organization that in 2024 served 47,220 individuals of all faiths and beliefs across Central Minnesota.

Programs

Mental Health - Catholic Charities Mental Health helps individuals and families develop and enhance emotional adjustment and independent living and community skills. Granite City Counseling is an outpatient counseling and behavioral health facility operating in St. Cloud. Our national partnership includes Senior Corps for the Central Minnesota Foster Grandparents Program. 616 people received support through individual, family and marriage counseling. 125 people received support through the Men's Domestic Abuse Intervention Program. 132 people with serious and persistent mental illness received support through Hope Community Support Program and 111 youth and their families were served by Catholic Charities Day Treatment Programs. 8,427 children received mentoring and support from 166 Foster Grandparents across 89 sites.

Housing - Catholic Charities Affordable and Transitional Housing works to find housing solutions for persons in need, including affordable rental housing, transitional housing for women with children and for single women in a sober environment, and services for homeless youth. Our Affordable and Transitional Housing programs address the diverse needs of those experiencing housing insecurity. These include affordable rental housing, transitional housing for women with children and single women in sober living environments, and targeted services for homeless youth. 614 individuals had a safe place to call home through housing management services across seven rental sites. 32 women and children received transitional housing support. 323 adults with serious and persistent mental illness were assisted in securing permanent supportive housing through the Bridges voucher program. 437 youth who were homeless or at risk of homelessness received education, referrals, basic needs, and community resources. 10 youth committed to positive change while residing at Youth House. 90 youth received housing counseling and financial assistance to help build stability and maintain affordable housing. Catholic Charities also provides housing solutions for persons living with developmental disabilities and persistent mental illness, as well as financial & housing counseling to help keep individuals and families in their homes. Through our In-Home Program, 74 individuals received personalized support, while 45 individuals found stability in our residential homes. Additionally, 563 individuals benefited from our financial and housing counseling services.
