Mission
A not-for-profit legal services provider affiliated with catholic charities of brooklyn and queens and the roman catholic diocese of brooklyn, provides free legal services and know your rights education to low-income individuals regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status.we assist immigrants with immigration legal services, housing legal services, and immigrant workers' rights legal services.in addition, we are committed to collaborating with and serving the diverse ethnic ministries of our community through pastoral services for immigrants. This preserves the cultural traditions and heritage of our people by ensuring ongoing fellowship and spiritual growth in the life of the church.

Housing services:our housing unit provides housing legal services, tenant organizing services, leadership training, and know-your-rights education to low-income tenants in queens. In 2024, our housing unit prevented or delayed evictions for 21 households, assisted 77 rent-stabilized households in applying for scrie/ drie benefits, and provided advice and counsel to 158 clients on housing matters.
Employment services:our employment unit provides advice and representation to low-wage workers on a variety of workplace issues, including assistance recovering unpaid wages, opposing discrimination and harassment, obtaining sick and family leave benefits, and advising workers of their rights. In 2024, the employment unit obtained $2,000,677.90 for 151 low-wage immigrant workers in settlements and judgements for unpaid wages and discrimination claims.
