Gilead ehe and mpv - the center for black equity's ending the hiv epidemic (ehe) program empowered local black pride organizations to host impactful events around national hiv awareness days and world aids day. These initiatives aimed to address disproportionately high hiv rates among populations heavily affected, including black lgbtq+ communities. Additionally, the program expanded to tackle the mpox (formerly mpv) outbreak by increasing vaccine access for black gay men, promoting equitable healthcare, and fostering community awareness and engagement to combat stigma and improve public health outcomes.
