In 2016, the foundation purchased a 26.71-acre land parcel for $1.825 million to be developed by coastal carolina university in the future. In december, 2024, the foundation sold the parcel to coastal carolina university for $1 million.

In 2023, the foundation agreed to pay $195,000 to the coastal educational foundation for the benefit of university operations. The gift is paid out in $30,000 increments annually through the year ending june 30, 2028, with a final payment of $15,000 to be paid between july 1, 2028 and december 31, 2028
