To provide support and be the connecting point for smms to access innovation, develop their supply chain capabilities, and find solutions to common industry problems. Workforce issues have become the largest and most pressing issue for small and medium manufacturers to find qualified applicants to fill critical jobs.

Manufacturing workforce pipeline activities: camps engages in several workforce pipeline initiatives to provide a more highly skilled workforce to meet the needs of manufacturers. For example, camps presents a manufacturing career presentation each month at joint base lewis-mcchord. There are between 5 to 10 military members in attendance each month.
Advancing manufacturing best practices: camps facilitates factory tours, conferences, and technical sessions to share and promote manufacturing best practices between the members.
