Mission

Carbon180's mission is to design and champion equitable, science-based policies that bring carbon removal solutions to gigatone scale. Carbon180's vision is to eliminate legacy carbon emissions and create a livable climate in which current and future generations can thrive.

Programs

Carbon180 works on education around climate change and carbon removal solutions. To do this, we produce communication materials and host a repository of information on carbon removal on our website. We shared our perspectives on policy, research, and business developments through our "the carbon copy" newsletter. With over 10,000 subscribers, we focused on sharing the field's latest news, science and job opportunities. We also publish "the deep end" where we share detailed perspectives on up to date policy news, with over 3,600 subscribers. We also have an active presence on social media, with nearly 10,000 followers on twitter.

Expenses: $1.4M

Our science & innovation team explores frontier carbon removal solutions and ensures our policy work is rooted in the best available science. They work with entrepreneurs to understand their barriers to cabron removal deployment.
