Climate finance: the program continued working in sustainable taxonomies and transparency. In the fall, we launched the observatory of taxonomies in latin america and the caribbean, and in chile supported the development of its national taxonomy of environmentally sustainable activities. The team engaged in a wealth of knowledge sharing activities throughout the year, writing blogs and presenting in numerous events, to help position ccap as global leaders and experts within related climate finance discussions. We also made substantial progress on our ongoing transparency guide we're developing for the initiative for climate action transparency (icat), which will be published and distributed in 2025.

Carbon markets: our focus in carbon markets this year involved the development of guides and policy briefs aimed at creating fair agreements and analyzing deforestation trends, with the goal of empowering and supporting local and indigenous communities to access voluntary carbon markets in an informed way, promoting equity and seeking climate justice. Under the framework of article 6 of the paris agreement, we partnered with organizations such as the wwf colombia to support local communities in rural regions, including colombia's amazon and pacific, to improve their understanding and strengthen their capacities regarding forestry projects that protect the climate, reduce emissions and create carbon credits.
