Center For Courage & Renewal

Ccr offers a variety of ways for people to connect with other members of the courage & renewal community for ongoing support and practice. Our membership & belonging program supports an online community platform using technology which aims to deepen community engagement and connection opportunities, expand and enrich our program offerings and foster leadership and self organizing among members. In this fiscal year our community platform grew to 550 members. Members can join various sector or affinity based communities of practice, attend community-specific events, and share resources. Two communities - the practitioner learning community and the facilitator collaboration - are specifically for alumni of related core programs to support ongoing formation and connection.

Ccr's sector programs provide communities of reflection and practice for leaders in a variety of fields including: education, non-profits, business, healthcare, human services and religion. This supports their efforts to work within their own communities and professions from a place of greater integrity in ways that are life-giving and renewing for themselves, and the people they serve. In 2023/24fy we continued flourishing in ministry programs with a focus on serving black, indigenous, people of color clergy and ministry leaders, including a pilot for korean-speaking ministry leaders. Our healing the heart of higher education conference hosted over 200 attendees. In this fiscal year, members of our facilitator collaboration offered 172 programs and retreats - including sector-based experiences like courage to teach, as well as courage to lead cross-professional experiences - reaching over 3,250 participants in countries around the world.
