Professional development program: the professional development program conducts capacity building, leadership training, professional exchanges, and career development for academics, journalists, and young leaders from asia, the pacific,and the united states. There were 619 participant awards for the various professional development program events including the 2024 asdp national conference and the international media conference.

Education program: the education program prepares the next generation to meet the complex challenges facing asia, the pacific, and the united states. In fy 2024, there were 673 participant awards for long term degree students, student affiliates, etc. Other students participated in conferences such as the ewc international graduate student conference.

Other programs: other programs include east-west center in washington, communications and external relations, pacific islands development program, and the auxiliary enterprise services. East-west center in washington provides us and regional government stakeholders and program partners with innovative training, analytical and dialogue exchange, and public diplomacy products to meet us policy priorities and expressed needs in the indo-pacific region. It also continues the successful asia matters for america/america matters for asia initiative to organize and disseminate information, data, and analysis on u.s.-asia interactions. In fy 2024 the washington office had 133 participants awards. Communications and external relations advances the center's mission through policy-relevant publications, convening events and briefings, and cross-programmatic outreach and engagement projects. In fy 2024 it hosted activities such as the australian america leadership dialogue and numerous briefings. The pacific islands development program serves the nations and peoples of the pacific through innovative capacity building, interchange among regional leaders, and policy-relevant research on priority issues. Pidp had 125 participant awards for their activities including the resilient pacific islands leaders fellowship. Auxiliary enterprises provide conference facilities and dormitory housing for students and conference participants that participate in the center's programs.
