O the center is a comprehensive resource for children with hearing loss, including full-scale audiology and speech therapy clinics, as well as a listening and spoken language school for children 18 mos. To 6 yrs. The center's primary mission is to help children with hearing loss reach their full potential.

Programs

4 programs

Audiology department - pediatric audiologists with doctoral degrees provide a family-centered, evidence-based early intervention approach to achieve optimal speech and language outcomes for children who are deaf and hard of hearing from birth to age 21. To enable children to maximize their hearing, our clinic is on the cutting edge of new technologies, which include hearing aids, osseointegrated devices, cochlear implants and remote microphone solutions.

Expenses: $2.4M

Speech therapy services speech language pathologists, including certified listening and spoken language specialists, provide specialized listening, language, and speech services to children who are deaf and hard of hearing from birth to age 21. To help children reach their full listening and spoken language potential, our speech therapists work with families on individualized treatment plans, provide tools they will need for them, and offer services in both english and spanish. Services are provide to children without hearing loss as well.
