Mission
The Center for Integration and Migrant Support (CIMS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering Sub-Saharan African refugees and migrants in Philadelphia and beyond. We provide essential resources and strategic guidance to help these migrant groups and individuals navigate the complexities of resettlement and integration. As an active member of Philadelphia's migrant support network, we collaborate with key stakeholders to foster inclusive, resilient communities where all migrants can thrive.

Social Service Connect is designed to link migrant and refugee families with essential services including education, healthcare, legal aid, and housing. In 2024, we supported 16 families, assisting with school enrollment, medical appointments, and legal referrals. Our emergency response efforts provided critical support to families in crisis, covering transportation, food, utility bills, rent, and medical expenses. Additionally, CIMS coordinated transportation for individuals needing access to medical and other vital appointments.
Through our Digital Support Program, we piloted an electronics recycling and distribution initiative in partnership with a local private donor. Donated iPads, laptops, desktops, and printers were refurbished and distributed to six migrant families, providing digital access to approximately 24 individuals.
