RESOURCES. CODE continued to support the development of Open SDG a widely used tool to help the UK and other countries track progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. CODE also worked closely with the Bloomberg Center for Government Excellence GovEx at Johns Hopkins University to support development of their City Data Explorer. CODE gathered input from a broad diverse set of data users to improve the value of this online resource.
RESEARCH. CODE concluded a project with Climate Change AI and the Bezos Earth Fund to research a landscape analysis on applications of AI for climate action. CODE also began a project with the IBM Center for the Business of Government on the success of The Opportunity Project a U.S. Department of Commerce initiative to use public data for local city and state applications.
