CPC believes in Popular Education, a collective learning process in which communities identify shared truths, develop strategies, and take action for change. CPC NewGen engages youth and young adults of color through this framework, centering youth leadership and civic engagement. Participants explore identity, systems change, and leadership while building relationships with mentors, elders, and peers who support collective empowerment.
Intercambio Pathways at UNCA combines cross-cultural exchange with expert-led discussions on organizing, civic participation, and systems change. Participants share their languages, identities, and cultures while learning from practitioners, activists, and educators about strategies to address inequities and impact their neighborhoods, schools, and communities. The program equips students to turn shared learning into concrete action, fostering leadership, collaboration, and social change at the college level.
