The CFSS Developing Occupational Opportunities Resources and Supports DOORS project is designed to provide career readiness and job placement opportunities for the city of Milwaukee residents. DOORS will help meet employer demands for a more skilled workforce by providing opportunities for individuals to receive training and learn skills in industry-recognized training programs.

Encourage support and assist members with employment basics medical essentials and psychological needs. Pre-release instruction in financial literacy workplace competencies and conflict resolution is provided to help with successful reintegration. Also intensive services are -provided during the post release phase.

The Milwaukee Fatherhood-FIRE program delivers a multi- faceted strategy of services designed to strengthen positive father-child engagement improve healthy relationships including couple and co-parenting and marriages for those who are married and improve economic stability. CSS and Center for Self-Sufficiency Inc. CFSS commit to using grant and leveraged resources to help fathers particularly low-income adult fathers and those between the ages of 18 and 24 residing in Milwaukee County and meeting all ACF eligibility criteria establish or strengthen relationships with their children overcome obstacles and barriers that prohibit them from being the most effective and nurturing parents and improve economic status.

The Center for Self Sufficiency Inc. CFSS RYOC UNLOCKING NETWORKS RUN serves 150 moderate and high-risk men ages 18 and older released from Racine Youth Offender Correctional Facility RYOC into Milwaukee WI MKE. The RUN wrap-around model integrates the National Institute of Corrections principles of effective interventions and incorporates core strategies of Cognitive Based Healthy Relationship Education Behavioral Work Readiness Development Parenting Mentoring & Holistic Case Management. CFSS will use an electronic client case mgmt. system to track individual & aggregate project goals & deliverables.

A collaboration of Milwaukee Area reentry agencies and stakeholders led by Employ MKE with the 2-pronged goal of 1. Researching and evaluating the racialized experience of Black Men released from incarceration to Milwaukee. 2. Researching and evaluating the racialized socialization of Milwaukee Area reentry agency members and other stakeholders.
