Center For Transnational Environmental Accountability

Fellows Project CTEA continued with its Legal Fellows Project, working with partner/hosting organizations in Latin America and Africa to bring together young legal professionals as well as seasoned legal professionals serving as mentors, to learn about law, regulations, and best practices related to foreign investments in their respective countries.

Education & Capacity Building CTEA and its Global South partners have conducted workshops and other training activities, to inform local communities about their rights related to environmental protection and access to information, and to support local civil society organizations in their efforts to protect these rights. In addition, CTEA has conducted training activities to increase the legal and advocacy capacity of its partners and the communities they support.
