Mission
Center for wildlife's mission is to cultivate and strengthen relationships between humans, wildlife, and the environment resulting in a healthier, more sustainable community. To this end, we focus on three goals: 1. Strengthen our community's overall health through the interdisciplinary approach of conservation medicine. 2. Expand community outreach and provide learning opportunities to educate and inspire people of all ages to value the connection between wildlife, human, and environmental health. 3. Achieve and advance a diverse and viable fundraising strategy, ensuring long-term financial sustainability to support the successful growth and continued demand for our work in the community.
Programs
1 program
To present over 500 educational and outreach programs to over 25,000 children and adults each year, promoting stewardship, empathy, and connection to the environment. Our newer campus also offers an ada accessible nature center and trails, along with an outdoor campus including non-releasable wild animal enclosures and interactive learning exhibits, pollinator gardens, and trails through the mount agamenticus forest ecosystem. This allows us to host over 25,000 visitors of all ages and demographics annually with the goal of offering nature connection, experiential learning and ecological literacy.
