Wage recovery - we use non-litigation strategies to combat wage theft. We file individual and collective cases at the ca labor commissioner's office. We have continued to operate our wage theft clinic, which investigates and prepares calculations of wages and penalties owed for low-wage workers. We met regularly with leadership from the labor commissioner's office to improve their procedures.

Creating lasting impact - the center for workers rights advocates for systemic change to improve workplace conditions and eliminate discrimination and abuse across industries. By analyzing thousands of worker conversations, the center identifies patterns of mistreatment and uses this knowledge to shape effective policies. As a collective voice for low-wage workers, the center collaborates with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure workplace protections are implemented equitably. The center also coordinates with coalitions and partners organizations.

Workers' rights clinics - cwr continued to run its legal clinics with volunteer law students from uc davis and mcgeorge schools of law and volunteer supervising attorneys. The clinics provide accurate, applicable, and free information to working people on their rights when issues arise in the workplace through one on one consultations. We dedicate one clinic each week to those workers who were struggling to obtain or maintain their unemployment insurance benefits.
