The organization's primary exempt purpose is improving labor-management relationships between i.b.e.w. Local 96 and its signatory employers related to their mutual interests. The fund also promotes organizational effectiveness, enhances economic development, and improves other matters that directly affect the working lives of employees and the profitability of the employers that are not readily addressed through the collective bargaining process.
