The foundation sponsors, and holds funds for the Internal Medicine Residency program. This is funded by Premera Blue Cross to recruit internists to practice in rural areas of the state.
The foundation provided funding to Heritage Place, a long-term care facility, for activity supplies. The activities consist of art therapy/classes, fitness (games with noodles/balls), cooking classes, games (brain/cards, dice), nature (gardening/walk n rolls), and bus rides for local sight seeing. These residents also participate in community outreach (parades, Operation Christmas, to list a few). Educational speakers in person or on big screen TV.
Other program service accomplishments include direct assistance to individuals and programs such as cancer care, patient prescriptions, patient transportation, cardiac rehabilitation, employee assistance, animal assistance, the Dr. Isaak Scholarship award, infant clothing donations to the Sarah's Closet program, and more.
